Description
Dr. Romero received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Universidad La Salle Medical School in Mexico City, Mexico. He completed his Internship, Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Romero also obtained his MSc in clinical research at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for studying the effects of obesity and sleep apnea on the cardiovascular system. His certifications include the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is also board-certified in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Romero enjoys using science and modern technology, especially advanced imaging, to identify heart problems before they impact patients’ quality of life in a major way. When he’s not with his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing electric guitar, and tennis.
