Dr. Luz Rincón attended medical school at Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at New York Downtown Hospital with Cornell University in New York, New York. For the past decade she has served the Tallahassee area as a hospitalist at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Her certifications include the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine. She currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A., and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Dr. Rincón is thrilled to have the opportunity to help her patients take good care of themselves and keep them away from the hospital - focusing on prevention, early disease detection, and optimization of their comorbidities. She especially enjoys serving the local Latino community. In her free time, Dr. Rincón loves to spend time at the ocean - exploring underwater creatures and playing on the beach with her husband and two sons.
