Dr. Lewis graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center and Affiliated Hospitals in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Lewis is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also in Obesity Medicine. She currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A., and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Dr. Lewis is married with three grown children, and when not with her patients she enjoys reading historical novels, gardening, and exercising. Her favorite part of her job is developing long-term relationships with her patients as well as helping people in their weight loss journeys.
